This association is an outcome of the<\/span> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/annemariekorte.org\/?page_id=18\">internationalisation project<\/a><\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">of religion and gender (2012-2015) and welcomes scholars from around the world working\u00a0in the field of religion and gender.\u00a0The International Association for the study of Religion and Gender aims to connect, bring together, and support scholars working in this field and to foster the development of this interdisciplinary field of study.\u00a0It operates as a network and a platform of exchange and collaboration in research, and organizes support, training and coaching in particular for young scholars in this field.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The IARG organizes a biannual conference, of which the first conference was held in 2015, of which you can find the programme\u00a0on the<\/span> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/associationreligionandgender.org\/programme\/\">conference website<\/a><\/span>. <span style=\"color: #000000;\">Besides these\u00a0conferences, the IARG organizes\u00a0various other network activities and provides both an online and offline network.
